The CIO Server Maintenance Program has been developed to ensure your company's recovery from a server hardware/software failure is as quick and pain-free as possible. It is our experience that unless a server's software and backup scripts are routinely updated and reviewed, they often falter when they're needed in a recovery situation. Additionally, normal use of a server creates issues that our Maintenance Program will address, preventing a catastrophic failure of your primary server in the first place.
CIO will monitor your server on a daily basis. Any major errors to your backup will be addressed. If you were to experience a server failure, assuming hardware viability/availability, CIO will recover your server. Your sole duty is to maintain a proper tape rotation on a plan that CIO will create for you.
