3COM Certified NBX Engineer
Business to Business computer services and phone system VAR (value added reseller) is seeking to fill a 3COM Certified NBX phone position. We provide support and consulting for SMB (small-medium businesses) client base providing them the IT support they do not have internally or augmenting small IT staffs. We are a 3COM partner and sell and support the 3COM NBX system & switches.
We provide a work environment that encourages growth and initiative and are currently looking for a certified, mid-level IT professional. Individual and proactive problem solving skills are REQUIRED to properly and efficiently operate within our organization. A plus would be 3COM switches and routers experience and Windows 2000-2003/XP certifications and experience managing Microsoft workstation and server environments.
This position's duties are to perform hands-on technical support for our clients. This support will be done both remotely from our offices and on-site at our client's facilities. You can expect at lease one on-site appointment per day.
Our mid-level engineer position works largely as a client support/project manager and is provided both the responsibly of leading the projects as well as the freedom to perform the work with little managerial supervision.
Preferred skill sets include 3COM NBX certification, 3COM switch/router Certification. Although not required Windows NT/2000/2003 based Servers, NT-XP workstations, Exchange, Watchguard firewalls, Backup Exec, cabling & switching technologies skills would be a plus.
