CIO began in late 1994 as Systems Integration, Inc (SI). After years of building a solid foundation using contract consultants, SI hired its first employees in 1997 and has been growing ever since. Building on a solid growth rate each year since its inception, in May of 1999 the company decided it was time to more accurately define its place in the market by renaming the company to CIO Inc. As our client's technology leader/partner, we provide advise on what to purchase, install and support those recommendations, and continue to consult on future technologies and changes in the market.In 2005, Jim and Jackie Brown bought the company and have continued the tradition of being the client's IT advocate. Jim brings both experience and knowledge with 35 years as both an IT director and Chief Iinformation Officer of fortune 500 companies. Today, they continue to build a successful company that is focused on quality IT and Communications managed services to allow the client to do what they do best - growing their business.
